Junior EO Communication Consultant

About the job
ALSO Space is looking for a Junior EO Communication Consultant with an interest in the space sector who is able to support in daily activities of international outreach projects within the field of Earth Observation services.
 
Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of and interest in the EU Space Programme and ecosystem, particularly Copernicus

  • Interest in science communication, space or STEM

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • Fluency in Spanish – written and spoken


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Fluency in English - written and spoken.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms, specifically X (Twitter) and LinkedIn.

  • Ability to conduct effective research as required.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, coupled with an eagerness to develop both qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.

  • Ability to deliver on time and to a high standard.

  • Quick learner, adaptable, organised, and detail oriented.

  • Ability to work independently as well as contribute effectively to a decentralised team.

  • Willingness to undertake occasional international day trips.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite.

 
Advantages

  • Knowledge of additional European language(s).

  • Proven interest in projects related to Earth and environmental sciences, disaster risk management, or climate change.

  • Proven experience using graphic design tools such as Canva and/or Adobe suite.
